Get advice on your fertility and contraception needs

Fertility is a complex journey, and one that’s as unique as it is personal.

So whether you’re thinking about conceiving, trying to conceive, or exploring fertility avoidance options, our expert team at Brecken Health Mandurah are here to provide tailored guidance and care to support you in your family planning .

Whether you need to speak to a women’s health doctor or men’s health GP, our team is here to support you, discuss your options, and provide referrals to fertility specialists.

We provide the following fertility treatment and family planning services:

  • Fertility counselling. When you’ve decided to consider pregnancy, the first step is to ensure you have specialist support.

We provide fertility counselling for individuals and couples, where we can talk about your fertility concerns, discuss any medical conditions that may impact your pregnancy, and provide information and referrals for the right fertility treatment options.
  • Fertility testing. If you’re under 35 and have been trying to get pregnant for a year or more, or over 35 and have been trying for longer than six months, we recommend booking a fertility test.

This helps identify potential fertility issues, assessing factors such as hormone levels, ovulation, sperm health, and lifestyle factors.
  • In-vitro fertilisation (IVF). If you’re having trouble conceiving naturally, your GP may recommend IVF as a fertility option. We can refer you to an IVF specialist, who will take you through the next steps of your journey.
  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) management. PCOS can lead to complications during pregnancy. But despite this, it can be managed. To give you the best chance at a safe pregnancy, your GP can advise you on the best management plan.
  • Contraception and birth control. Get advice on the contraceptive option that’s right for you, both for male and female contraception options, and support in identifying the method that suits your lifestyle and health needs.
